"Shootinginnorfolk" does exactly what it says on the label, by providing all kinds of shooting for the sporting gun in the Norfolk countryside. The service was set up in 2005 by Bob Laidlaw. Bob has been a keen pigeon shooter for more than 35 years and now uses his vast experience to help his clients have a successful and enjoyable day decoying pigeons in Norfolk.

"Every effort is made to find the birds on the day", says Bob. "Several hours recon. is put in the day before a shoot day, so that when the client arrives, i know exactly where to put them for the best results. Once the hide and decoy pattern is set-up and the client is happy, i'm off looking for pigeons again". Bob always has a "plan B" in case the birds haven't read the script properly and don't turn up on the day.
"Of course there are never any guarantees," says Bob. " We are dealing with wild birds and they're often totally unpredictable. So many factors can affect the birds' behavour, not least of all the weather. You can often see large numbers of pigeons on a field one day but next day, not one to be seen, they've simply moved on".

"However, I have thousands of acres of prime agricultural land to shoot over and years of experience to draw upon, so it's not often that I can't put on a good day for the lads."

The fact that so many of Bob's clients come back time and time again, bears testament to the fact that he makes every effort to ensure a good time is had by all.
